Inject meaning into your life!

As fall is arriving either uninvited or welcomed into our lives, our décor, and our windows, I am taking a quick look back on my summer.

The summer of 2019.

Not much of a ring to it, but it did happen. I have the calendar to prove it!

Days came and went, nights arrived and passed. Many things of substance happened for many people. There was meaning in those days and nights which seemed to dissolve almost as soon as they appeared. For me anyway.

Perhaps it is a function of getting older, but I can recall my anticipation of summer, but for one event, was vanilla. For the most part, it lived up to my expectation. (Affirmation-ists are loudly saying "DUH".) But in my retrospective reflection, I am seeing the lack of injected meaning. Although I was reminding myself daily to live intentionally, with purpose, with impact, I believe I didn't see it consistently enough to be remarkable, or the things of which memories are made. Perhaps it was my state of mind as it was not the most fantastical of times in my life. No Whining...just stating fact, for your perspective and my convoluted justification.

But yes, we can inject meaning, impact and influence in each and every day...with intention. And, it can be contagious. Contagious at an epidemic proportion if you choose. The "pay-it-forward type of momentum.

So as I am now embracing the fall (MY FAVE), I am moved to create significant meaning to my days. In other words, I don't want to get to the first day of winter and have any questions about making an impact, leaving someone or something better than I found it. I want to create change, sustainable and life-providing change for people in my path. Particularly our young people. Somedays I cry for what our society looks like when these young children and young adults begin to really open their eyes and notice what is happening. I get sad for what is happening to our air and our water and I have to question are we doing enough?

So I am challenging you to ask yourself each day, "What meaning, impact, 'stamp' will I leave on today?"

Don't wait for the sign or a push because it may not arrive, and you will find yourself wishing for a re-do.

Inject meaning in each and every day with intention, even if it is as simple as a genuine smile or hug.

It will make an impact.

LIVE INTENTIONALLY!

Hugs to you all.

*Please share your intentional actions if you would like.
