Ramblings from a reluctant adult...

Today is the day I decided to start my Soul Intention Blog. I could not be more excited to share with you, but also to see how far we can go with this.

I have found myself searching for my adulthood and overall adult behavior, and, like that man as the love of my life, I just haven't found it yet. I feel young at heart, mind and action but simply cannot keep up with my former energy level.

Too often I find myself looking at these youngsters and saying hip things like "I wish I had her energy." Or "She's going to sleep well tonight."

It seems like just yesterday...

...here we go again. Trite.

Being an adult or "adulting' does require energy, but it is on a different level and from a different source than the more youthful generations we are surrounded by. We are very conservative and conscious of our supply and particularly aware of when it is waning. "I need to sit down, my energy is waning :-) "I think I'd better take a nap."

We adults pride ourselves in our nap schedule and actually get irritated with the spandex wearing, nipple showing tank tops who say they don't "need" a nap. But where are most of them? In their cribs sleeping.
